The predecessor of our company was the freehand forging sector part of the giant GANZ-MÁVAG Ltd., which was formed more than 100 years ago.


Since then, our company has undergone several changes and renewals and gained significant experience in technical and productional matters. The company is functioning in a technically up-to-date manner.

Szabadalakító Kovácsüzem Ltd. was formed in 1999, as an individual company. It is 100% Hungarian owned and is operating profitably with 52-60 employees.

Our products are steel forgings made through freehand forging. These are base materials for Hungarian and foreign companies that are producing pressure-keeping devices, vehicle components and power plant devices.

All our activities is in accordance with the ISO-9001:2008 standard certified by TÜV Reinland. (Cert No: 75 100 9.651)
Our quality assurance system and production also complies with the european PED 97/23/EC directives. (Cert No: 01 202 H/Q-04 0001).

We always keep an eye on constantly upgrading our equipment. In this regard, the creation of a proprietary compressed air supply system was of crucial importance. The 7.5 bar system consists of three new Atlas-Copco compressors and six 30m3 air tanks.
Total investment cost reached HUF 100 million, including a HUF 25.4 million support fund awarded under the KMOP-2008-1.2.1/B Development Project.
This project was realised with the support of the European Union, through the co-financing of the European Regional Development Fund.
On top of ensuring the stability of production and reducing production costs, this CAPEX project also decreases environmental impacts significantly.
